Ever thought making ‘proper’ bags required a heavy duty machine and special textiles?

Not at all… as long as you have a decent sewing machine and can thread it, sew a straight line, you can make a bag. You’ll be an expert in no time if you can sew zips and corners!

Don’t be intimidated – join us and have some fun learning how to make these gorgeous wooden handle bags.

In addition to Anna’s warm and friendly personality, the class is both educational and enjoyable… this makes for a great fun-filled workshop that everyone will enjoy

Since there will be limited time and steps involved in making this bag, it will not be possible to teach someone how to operate their sewing machine and how to sew.

Experienced sewing enthusiasts are better suited to this workshop.

During this hands-on sewing class, you can learn something new and leave with a quality handcrafted purse you can take home.

What you need to bring:

It is imperative that your sewing machine is in good working order and that you know how to operate it

1/2 metre of Fabric of your choice – for the outside of the bag

1/2 Metre of fabric of your choice – for the inside lining of the bag

(something that will not easily crease)

It is necessary to have a pair of scissors on hand

Pencil for markingPins

Cotton – coloured to match your fabric and lining

Needles for some hand sewing

PickerNeedle threader

A rotary cutter to cut material and pattern out

What is included:Wooden frame , Pattern, instructions, tuition and light refreshments

What you will get:

To make your own beautiful clutch purse to take home

Light refreshments will be provided
