I love a hot bowl of soup, or leftovers – except when it’s too hot to handle! You can solve this problem with a homemade bowl cozy, which allows the bowl to be microwaved with the cozy attached, so you can enjoy your food without burning yourself.
In this fun relaxed workshop setting you will learn how to make your own bowl cozy from scratch, from cutting it out to sewing it and taking the finished cozy with you.
It is important to use 100% cotton fabric, batting, and thread when making these bowl holders. Polyester can melt in your microwave or even cause a fire.
Make a bowl cozy or two and enjoy some leftovers!
